What's your Return Policy?

Human hair pieces may be returned within 3 days of delivery for store credit only, minus a 35% restocking fee, provided the item is in the exact same condition as received, with lace and hairline uncut and unaltered, not worn, washed, conditioned, heat-styled, colored, chemically treated, or exposed to any styling products, perfumes, or smoke, and returned with all original tags, packaging, and included accessories such as halo wires, clips, and combs; all other items, including synthetic wigs, toppers, extensions, and accessories, are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange; all custom or customized orders are final sale and non-refundable, including any stock pieces altered at the customer’s request (such as color services, balayage, cuts, thinning, softening, moving clips or parts, cap adjustments, or any other modifications), as these are considered bespoke products made specifically for the client; any approved return must be requested in advance, shipped back by the buyer at their own expense using trackable and insured shipping, and will be inspected upon arrival, and any item that does not meet all return conditions will be refused and shipped back at the buyer’s expense; store credit is issued only after inspection and approval of the return, and no cancellations are accepted once an order has been placed.

 

Are your toppers and wigs made with human hair?

Yes our human hair toppers are 100% Premium Human Hair:Brazilian, Russian, Mongolian, Slavic or European Remy Human Hair


How long does it take to receive my order?

Each piece is handmade to order and takes about 10-12 weeks, depending on the density and base type you choose.


What's your product warranty?

WARRANTY & REPAIR POLICY

At TressPerfection, each human hair topper and wig is carefully handcrafted using premium materials. Every piece is inspected multiple times before shipping to ensure exceptional quality. Because our products are handmade, small variations in hair pattern, density, or stitching are considered normal and are not defects.

💙 Limited Warranty

We offer a 3-month limited warranty from the delivery date.

This warranty covers only:

Manufacturing or craftsmanship issues (such as seam separation not caused by improper care).

Base construction flaws, including stitching irregularities that occur without external damage.

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear, including tangling, lace lifting, shedding from normal wear, dryness, frizz, or shedding due to daily use, product buildup, or heat styling.

Damage caused by coloring, toning, perming, or applying chemical treatments.

Alterations made after delivery (such as cutting, trimming, bleaching knots, thinning, or changing clips or parts).

Damage from incorrect washing, exposure to high temperatures, or failure to follow our care instructions.

Any damage caused by external factors, including weather, swimming, or sleeping in the piece.

To qualify for warranty evaluation, you must contact us within 3 months of delivery, include clear photos, and describe the issue in detail. Our team will assess whether it qualifies as a manufacturing defect. If it does, we will either repair or replace the piece at our discretion.

TressPerfection reserves the right to deny warranty claims if the issue results from misuse, neglect, or alterations. The final decision regarding warranty coverage rests solely with our quality control team.

💇♀️ Repair & Refresh Services

After the warranty period, we’re happy to continue caring for your piece through our professional Repair & Refresh Services, available for a service fee depending on the work required.

These services include:

Re-ventilation (adding new hair to thinning or worn areas)

Base reinforcement or PU perimeter restoration

Clip or comb replacement

Deep conditioning, detangling, and hydration treatments

Color refresh or tone correction (at customer request)

All repair or refresh work is handled with the same care as our original production. Before starting, we’ll provide a quote based on photos and the condition of your piece.

Please note:

We cannot guarantee repair results for hair pieces that have been colored, chemically treated, or significantly altered by a third party.

Repair timelines vary depending on the extent of the work.

Return shipping costs (to and from our studio) are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.

Hairpieces are delicate, high-end products intended for careful use. To maintain your warranty and extend the lifespan of your piece, please follow our official Care Instructions included with your order.

Improper use, neglect, or unauthorized alterations void the warranty immediately. TressPerfection is not responsible for damages caused by external salons, stylists, or third-party services.


Can my human hair piece can be repair and refresh?

After the warranty period, we’re happy to continue caring for your piece!
Our repair services include the following services for a fee:
• Re-ventilation (adding new hair to thinning spots)
• Base reinforcement
• Clip replacement or PU edge restoration
• Deep conditioning and color refresh


How do I secure the topper to my head?

Each topper comes with discreet, comfortable clips that snap securely into your hair. I can also add combs or customize the attachment method if needed—just let me know your preference! Halo wires or halo bands are also recommended. We have created different solutions that are clipless for sensitive scalps.

 

What’s the difference between density options?

Density refers to how much hair is on the topper. Light density offers a natural, subtle look, while medium or high density adds more volume. I’m happy to help you choose the right option based on your needs and hair goals! Usually between 100% to 180%

 

Is this suitable for people with hair loss or thinning?

Yes! My toppers are designed specifically for women experiencing thinning or hair loss. They’re lightweight, breathable, and customized for a seamless, natural look.

 

Can I color or tone the topper or wig after I get it delivered?

Yes, you can color or tone your human hair topper or wig after delivery—just keep in mind that lighter shades are easier to tone or darken. Darker toppers, however, can’t be lightened since they’ve already been dyed and may get damaged if bleached. I recommend working with a professional to ensure the best results.

Synthetic pieces can't be colored.

 

Is it normal for the water to turn brown when I wash my brunette human hair topper?

Yes, it’s normal! Brunette human hair toppers often release some color when washed—especially if they’ve been recently dyed. It’s just leftover pigment and nothing to worry about. Use sulfate-free shampoo and cool water to help preserve the color.

Even blonde hair pieces with darker roots may release some color when washed—especially if the root was tinted or toned. It’s usually just excess pigment and is normal during the first few washes. To minimize fading, use cool water and color-safe, sulfate-free products.
